WAYS TO LEARN THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

The most common way to learn The Alexander Technique is through one to one lessons.   A cheaper and more social option is to attend a group class.  Both options have their benefits and you can also do both if you wish. 

ONE TO ONE LESSONS

One to one lessons with me allow you to learn the Alexander Technique quickly and in a way that is totally customised to you, your body and how you learn. 


Sessions are 30 minutes long and can be booked as individual sessions or at a reduced cost if you book and pay for a block of 5 or more lessons in advance. 


Individual lessons are priced at £55. Contact me for prices of block bookings as I regularly run different offers to help you get started. 

To learn the Technique in depth you will need to take lessons regularly, but sometimes if a person has a particular physical challenge coming up - such as running a marathon or having a baby, that they would like support with then booking even one lesson can offer them useful tips and ways to approach this. 

LEARN TOGETHER

I also offer paired lessons for 2 people, so that you can learn together with a friend, partner or family member and split the cost.  These lessons are 45 minutes long and are £70 and the same discounts apply if you book a block of lessons. 

GROUP CLASSES

Group classes are a more sociable and more affordable way to learn more about the principles of the Alexander Technique.  They are also a great route to  help you decide whether learning the Technique at a deeper level is for you.  

Group classes, range from £10-60 (ranging from 1 hour to full day courses). Contact me and I can tell you what is coming up.   


Or if you're feeling more proactive and know other people that would like to try The Technique too,  a great way to start learning is to get a group of 6 or more colleagues or friends together for my 3.5 hour introductory class.  This is a really interactive fun and social way to learn about your own movement, the basic principles of The Alexander Technique and spend some quality time together.  This can take place in your own workplace or home or I can arrange a venue.  I will make the focus of the workshop whatever is most relevant to your group, whether it's how to arrange your office space, looking at ways of doing certain activities or becoming more self aware. Get in touch and we can plan it together.  

I currently teach at venues at Warren Street (W1), Old Street (EC1) and Barking (IG11) as well as in peoples' homes.  If you would like to discuss an alternative location just contact me and I will accommodate you if I can.
